Fuze: David Macknezie (Oscar Nominee “Hell or High Water”) New Thriller, All-Star Cast

Worthington, Gugu Mbatha-Raw Join Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Theo James in Thriller ‘Fuze’

The feature, which follows a city-wide evacuation of London after the discovery of an unexploded World War II bomb, commenced filming in the U.K. capital this week.

Sam Worthington (Avatar) and Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Loki) will star alongside Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Theo James in thriller Fuze.

Other additions to the cast: Elham Ehsas (HomelandShantaram) and Honor Swinton-Byrne (The SouvenirDrift).

Directed by Oscar nominee David Macknezie (Hell or High WaterOutlaw King) the project begins shooting in London this week.

Penned by Ben Hopkins, the film follows the discovery of long-buried World War II bomb in central London which sparks “a city-wide evacuation, while a group of men exploit the chaos to their own ends,” a plot synopsis reads.

The film is produced by Berrie, Mackenzie for Sigma Films, as well as Sebastien Raybaud and Callum Grant for Anton. Giles Nuttgens joins Mackenzie’s creative team as director of photography
after previously collaborating on seven films, including Hell or High Water.

Sky will release the film theatrically in the U.K. and Ireland, whereas UTA Independent Film Group and WME Independent are co-representing the U.S. rights with Anton.
