The 28th edition of Capri, Hollywood will run December 27 through January 1.

Two American actor-filmmakers who have enjoyed career-best years at the movies will be celebrated from afar — specifically, in Italy — over the holiday break.
Italy’s Capri, Hollywood Film Festival will fete Maestro co-writer-director-lead actor Bradley Cooper will its annual Visionary Award and Barbie co-writer-director Greta Gerwig with its inaugural Lina Wertmüller Award, fest director Pascal Vicedomini announced Monday.
The Italian filmmaker Micaela Ramazzotti will also receive the Wertmüller Award, which is named after the trailblazing Italian filmmaker who died in 2012, and which was created to celebrate outstanding female filmmakers.
Filmmaker Matteo Garrone and actors Seydou Sarr and Moustapha Fall will be celebrated during the fest for their work on Io Capitano, which has been chosen to represent Italy in this season’s best international feature Oscar race.
