“Blazing Saddles” was nominated for three Oscars, including Supporting Actress for Madeline Kahn, whos doing a good parody of all the cabaret singers that Marlene Dietrich had played (including Destry Rides Again, which also had elements of spoof).

The Blackboard Jungle received four Oscar nominations, including Screenplay for Richard Brooks (who also directed) and Cinematography (b/w) for Russell Harlan.

Blade Runner was nominated for two Oscars: Art Direction-Set Decoration to Lawrence G. Paul, David Snyder, and Linda DeScenna; and Visual Effects to Douglas Trumbull, Richard Yuricich, and David Dryer.

The Black Stallion received two Oscar Nominations, Supporting Actor for Mickey Rooney and Film Editing for Robert Dalva, and won the Special Achievements for Sound. 

The Black Rose received one Oscar nomination, Color Costume Design for Michael Whittaker.
