Up in the Air: Interview with Director Jason Reitman

I related to this character more than in a few ways and when I started writing this screenplay, I was writing more as corporate satire, and over the six years it took me to write it, my life really evolved, I went from a single guy living in an apartment to a married guy with a daughter, a professional director living in a house with a mortgage, and my perspective just changed and inevitably, I had to write the character differently and start discussing the things that are important in life.

Date Night: Interview with Steve Carell and Tina Fey

Steve Carell and Tina Fey star in "Date Night," the new romantic comedy directed by Shawn Levy. The film, which also stars Mark Ruffalo, Kristin Wiig, and Ray Liotta, is being released on April 9 by Fox.

Carell says his own date nights, like Phil Foster's (and Levy's and Klausner's), leave much to be desired. "Sometimes the worst part of date night is actually leaving for the date – when you see your babysitter sitting down, getting all cozy, turning on the TV. That sometimes seems much better than the night that lies ahead."

La Mission: Peter Bratt Directs Brother Benjamin in Tale of Che
