The 29th edition is set to open with ‘Thelma,’ close with Christopher Reeve doc ‘Super/Man’ and feature ‘Skywalkers: A Love Story’ as its centerpiece film.

The 23rd edition of the annual New York event has unveiled its  lineup, which will open with a documentary about Diane von Furstenberg and feature docs about Liza Minnelli and Renee Elise Goldsberry.

There are 4 U.S. titles in the feature section of the non-competitive sidebar: Tyler Taormina’s Christmas Eve In Miller’s Point, Carson Lund’s Eephus, India Donaldson’s Good One and Gazer from Ryan J. Sloan.

The Cannes sidebar, organized by France’s Film Critics Union, runs May 15-23.
