Thirty years after the launch of the Dogma 95 film movement, five rising Danish filmmakers have launched Dogma 25 in Cannes

“Vie Privée” is an off-beat mystery about a psychotherapist who becomes convinced that her patient’s suicide was actually a murder.

Ahead of out-of-competition screening, Spike Lee‘s Highest 2 Lowest, fest director Thierry Frémaux surprised the Oscar winner with the honor. 

The film is a three-hander, starring Oscar winner Benicio del Toro, Michael Cera and breakout Mia Threapleton, the daughter of Oscar winner Kate Winslet.
