Dangerous Method: What's Missing from Cronenberg's Melodrama

Cronenberg’s erotic-psychological melodrama,  about the intricate and troubled relationship between Freud and Jung, is a mixed bag, a superbly acted, elegantl feature, which, unfortunately, still feels like a play.  Broad and lacking in-depth examination, the movie should be appreciated by people who don’t know much about  psychoanalysis or the two central iconic figures.

Oscar 2011: Nominations for European Film Awards

The European Film Academy and EFA Productions proudly announced the nominations for the European Film Awards 2011 at the Seville European Film Festival. The more than 2,500 EFA Members will now vote for the winners which will be presented during the awards ceremony on 3 December in Berlin.
