John Krasinski’s thriller co-starring actress (and wife) Emily Blunt continued to impress and lure viewers, earning $21.8 million from 3,808 locations.
A Quiet Place had another impressive holdover, declining only 34% to bring its domestic tally to $132 million.
Bumped down to No. 2, Dwayne Johnson’s Rampage earned $20.3 million in 4,115 theaters in its second weekend. The film has made $66 million at the North American box office.
“Rampage” has been able to justify its expensive price tag with a strong international showing. It has crossed the $200 million mark internationally, claiming $57 million this weekend, and bringing its global tally to $283 million.
