Oscar Ceremony Dates for 2027 and 2028

The Oscars have set dates for the 99th ceremony and its historic centennial celebration.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has scheduled the 99th Oscars and the 100th Oscars for 2027 and 2028 — the final two years the telecast will air on its longtime distributor, ABC, before moving to YouTube.
The 99th Oscars on Sunday, March 14, 2027.
The 100th Oscars on Sunday, March 5, 2028.
Both ceremonies will air live at 7 p.m. ET on ABC and in more than 200 territories worldwide from the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood.
The Oscars will relocate venues, moving from the Dolby Theatre to the Peacock Theater beginning in 2029, where the ceremony will remain through 2039.
This year’s Oscar telecast drew 17.8 million viewers on ABC and Hulu.
That figure marked a 9% decline from last year’s 19.7 million viewers, which had been a five-year high for the ceremony.
