Netflix plans to buy from Paramount God Particle, J.J. Abrams sci-fi thriller that’s the next installment of the Cloverfield film series.
God Particle (aka “Cloverfield Station”), which has April 20 release date, was originally set to open in February 2017!
Paramount had made a deal with Netflix in December for the latter to handle international release of Natalie Portman’s horror-thriller, Annihilation. which Paramount will release in North America February 23.
Set in the near future, God Particle deals with astronauts on a space station making a terrifying discovery that challenges their knowledge about the fabric of reality, while desperately trying to fight for survival.
Nigerian-American filmmaker Julius Onah directed the film, which stars David Oyelowo, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Ziyi Zhang, Elizabeth Debicki, Daniel Brühl, and Chris O’Dowd.
