Noemie Lvovsky’s Tomorrow and Thereafter, a dark fable about a 10-year-old girl living with an unstable mother, will open the 2017 Locarno Film Fest, August 2, in the Piazza Grande.
The French director-actor, who plays the mother; Matthew Amalric (“Quantum of Solace”), who plays the father; and the young protagonist Luce Saint-Jean will make an appearance in Locarno.
