The San Sebastian Film Fest has announced that “Tigers,” a fact-inspired drama helmed by the Academy Award winning Danis Tanovic (“No Man’s Land”) will round up its main competition.
Exploring Pakistan’s fascination with Western pharmaceutical drugs, “Tigers” turns on a man who is shocked to discover the terrible effects of a baby formula he’s selling.
“Tiger,” an India-France-U.K. co-production, will world premiere at Toronto’s Contemporary World Cinema sidebar.
The Match Factory handles sales.
