I am looking forward to Atom Egoyan’s new film, Remember, which will world-premiere in the main competition of the 72nd Venice Film Fest next month.
After a bright beginning and several good films in the 1990s, Egoyan’s career went into sharp decline. He has not made a decent film in 16 years, since Felicia’s Journey, in 1999.
Written by Benjamin August, Remember boasts a stellar cast, headed by Dean Norris, Oscar winners Christopher Plummer and Martin Landau, Bruno Ganz, Heinz Lieven, Jurgen Prochnow, Gunter Lamprecht, Henry Czerny, and Kim Roberts.
The film is produced by Egoyan’s reliable collaborators, Robert Lantos and Ari Lantos.
The exec producers are Mark Musselman, Anant Singh, Mike Porter, Moises Cosio, Jeff Sagansky, D. Matt Geller, and Lawrence Guterman.
