King of the Dancehall: Nick Cannon’s Film, Set in Jamaica

King of the Dancehall is produced, written and directed by Nick Cannon.

New York ex-con Tarzan, travels to Jamaica to hook up with a cousin and start a minor-league drug-smuggling operation.

Once in Kingston, however, he is sidetracked-and captivated-by a rather conservative local beauty, Maya (Kimberly Patterson, stunning), whose exuberance on the dance floor makes Tarzan determined to measure up and perhaps gain her affections.  However, first he has to learn the moves.

Cannon anchors the many subplots that attach themselves to the main storyline in a Kingston scene that vibrates with spirit and passion.
