Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood: Los Angeles in 1969

Though Tarantino’s new film, Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood, is anything but sentimental, in many ways it is nostalgic, taking viewers back to Los Angeles in 1969.  We get a look at the cars, the streets, the mansions–and of course the movie theaters (not palaces) and the way they had advertised their pictures.

The first scene, which is dialogue drive, or rather monologue-driven is set at the famous restaurant, The Musso & Frank Gril, where Al Pacino dominates the conversation between him, DiCaprio and Pitt.
