James Boy: Tale of Male Friendship

Well-acted by its two leads, James Boy, directed by Trevor White, is a dramatic tale of an unlikely friendship between two men who could not have been more different.

James Boy is based on the true story of teenager James Burns (impressive newcomer Spencer Lofranco), who goes from a suburban street gang to a maximum-security prison cell surrounded by hardened criminals.

James turns his life around in prison thanks to the unexpected friendship he forms with a convicted murderer (Ving Rhames) who becomes his mentor.
