Gold (1974): Hunt’s Adventure, Starring Roger Moore and Gielgud

This adventure, directed by Peter Hunt, concerns an international cartel, headed by John Gielgud, which plots to flood a South African mine and thus raise the price of gold.

Roger Moore, then at the height of his career as James Bond, plays the hero who foils the plot.

The cast also include Ray Milland as the mine owner and Susannah York as his daughter, who falls for Moore, despite the fact that she is married to Bardford Dillman.
