Dogman, the Italian film that world premiered at the 2018 Cannes Film Fest, is second-tier feature from Matteo Garrone, not as powerful as his splashy 2008 debut, Comorrah (still his best work), but one or two notches above Reality and first English-language feature, Tale of Tales.
