Disney’s D23 Pushed by One Year to 2022

The convention will now take place Sept. 9-11, 2022.
The next installment will come as Disney prepares to celebrate the 100th anniversary of its founding, and the company is promising a first look at how it plans to celebrate that milestone.
The move comes as the convention world continues to deal with COVID-19 and the strains it puts on large-scale live gatherings. The pandemic has seen some conventions, such as San Diego Comic-Con, canceled their in-person components and migrate online.
Disney has another big 2022 convention, Star Wars Celebration, less than one month before its new D23 date.
