Coming Home, which world premieres at the Cannes Film Fest (out of competition) is Zhang Yimou’s 12th collaboration with Gong Li, the beautiful star of his former Cannes competition entries, “Ju Dou,” “To Live” and “Shanghai Triad.”
This romantic drama is set against the backdrop of China’s Cultural Revolution.
