Borat: DVD Version Even More Offensive

“Borat” will debut on DVD March 6, 2007, without any changes to the bigscreen version. The lawsuits seeking to have the picture altered for the disc have been defeated.

The Fox’s DVD disc could be even more offensive since it will inclue deleted scenes and scenes from “Borat’s” visits to the Toronto Film Festival, Cannes and Comic-Con. Sacha Baron Cohen conducted most of his early tubthumping for the mockumentary in character, although he has lately appeared as himself at events around town.

The film, which has Golden Globes nominations for comedy and for Cohen as actor, is considered a dark horse for the Oscars.
