Trank, Josh: Director of Fantastic Four and Chronicle

JOSH TRANK is the director and co-writer of the new Fantastic Four, as well as helmer and c-writer of critically acclaimed science fiction dramatic-thriller “Chronicle” for Twentieth Century Fox in 2012.

Trank started work at age 14, serving as an editor for public access programming in Los Angeles throughout high school.

After graduating, he worked as a post-production assistant in several L.A.-area editing facilities.  He eventually made “Stabbing at Leia’s,” an Internet phenomenon with over 10 million views online.

Big Fan

He then went on to edit and produce the independent film “Big Fan,” which was nominated for the 2009 Sundance Grand Jury Prize for dramatic feature.
