The terrible Pacific Palisades Fire has engulfed Palisades Charter High School, a school that has long been a popular location for Hollywood productions.

On Tuesday, January 7, the fire spread through several structures at the PCHS campus, and had all but destroyed the adjacent Theater Palisades.

Earlier in the day, PCHS posted a note on its website that the school was closed due to the Palisades Fire.

As the fires continued to rage, California Gov. Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency, and nearly 30,000 people have been ordered to evacuate.
