Oscar Actors: Cumulative Advantage–Tandy, Jessica

Jessica Tandy received the Tony Award for Best Actress in 1948, for her performance in A Streetcar Named Desire, sharing the honor with Judith Anderson’s portrayal of Medea and with Katharine Cornell.

She became one of the oldest Oscar winner in 1989, when she received the Best Actress Oscar for Driving Miss Daisy.
