From 8-11 p.m., the 63RD ANNUAL GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS (6.3/15 in 18-49, 18.7 million viewers overall) delivered NBC's highest-rated non-Olympic Monday in 20 months (since May 3, 2004, FEAR FACTOR, 10.5 PART 2) in 18-49.
In total viewers, this is NBC's biggest non-Olympic Monday in more than six years (since May 3, 1999, comedies and NOAH'S ARK, PART 2).
The GOLDEN GLOBES improved on NBC's Monday 18-49 season average by 75% (6.3 vs. 3.6). Last night's telecast won the night in adults 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, total viewers and all key adult-female demographics.
The event is up 11% versus last year's Sunday result in 18-49 and up 1.8 million viewers overall, to rank as the season's #1 awards show to date in 18-49. The GLOBES are also the season's #1 awards show so far in total viewers, slightly ahead of the recent Emmys.
