Twilight Zone: Big Screen Picture for DiCaprio

July 20, 2009–Warner  and Leonardo DiCaprio's Appian Way will produce a “Twilight Zone” movie. Rand Ravich will write the script based on the popular TV series, which mixed fantasy, science-fiction and horror elements.

Ravich directed “The Astronaut's Wife” and exec produced George Clooney's “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.” He also created NBC's detective series “Life.”

The original “Twilight Zone” series ran for five seasons, from 1959, on CBS, with Rod Serling creating and writing more than half of the 156 episodes.

Warners released the previous bigscreen incarnation 1983's “Twilight Zone: The Movie,” in which Spielberg and John Landis produced and directed segments.
