Think Like a Man Too: Leading Box-Office

In the past, studio heads and distributors would waituntil Friday or Saturday to make box-office assessments, but now, with the rising dominance of social media, predictions are made days before  apicture even opens.

“Think Like a Man Too,” the Vegas-set wedding comedy, is leading pre-sales going into the weekend, according to Fandango.

Starring Kevin Hart

The film boasts an ensemble cast that includes rising star Kevin Hart. It is tracking to make more than $32 million at the domestic box office and is outselling two previous Hart films, “Let Me Explain” and “Ride Along,” at similar points in their sales cycles.

It is also eclipsing its predecessor, “Think Like a Man,” which stunned box office prognosticators when it opened to $33.6 million in April, 2012.

The weekend’s other new release, Clint Eastwood’s adaptation of the Broadway smash “Jersey Boys,” is the fourth biggest seller, with “22 Jump Street” and “How to Train Your Dragon 2″ cornering second and third place, respectively. Analysts expect “Jersey Boys” will pull in roughly $12 million this weekend, while “Dragon 2″ and “22 Jump Street” will snag $30 million each.

But acording to MovieTickets.com,seller, although it measures sales in 24 hour increments instead of looking at the coming weekend in its entirety.

“Jersey Boys” was the site’s third strongest selling film on Wednesday, followed by “Think Like a Man Too” in fourth place.
