Disney Moves The King’s Man Release Date to August

Guillermo Del Toro’s ‘Nightmare Alley’ is among the films that now have release dates.
Disney has shifted the 20th Century film, The King’s Man, to August 20. It previously was slated for March 12.Matthew Vaughn returns to direct the World War I prequel to his Kingsman: The Secret Service (2015) and Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017).

Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton, Rhys Ifans, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander, Harris Dickinson, Daniel Brühl, Djimon Hounsou and Charles Dance star in the film.

Ron’s Gone Wrong has moved six months to October 22, while Searchlight’s The Night House is now dated for July 16.

Searchlight’s The Eyes of Tammy Faye also has found a date and will open September 24 in limited release.

Searchlight’s horror movie Antlers, from Scott Cooper, also has a date and is now set for October 29.

Guillermo Del Toro’s Nightmare Alley, from Searchlight, will open December 3 in limited release.

This is the latest in a series of high-profile moves, with MGM and Universal pushing back James Bond’s No Time to Die and Sony delaying Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Morbius, Uncharted and more.
