Thank You for Your Service: Miles Teller to Star in Dreamworks Disorder Drama, Written and Directed by Jason Hall

Miles Teller will star in the post-traumatic stress disorder drama, Thank You for Your Service, for DreamWorks.

Screenwriter Jason Hall (American Sniper) is directing from a script he adapted from David Finkel’s 2013 book of the same name, which followed up the struggles of the battalion chronicled in Finkel’s “The Good Soldiers” during its 15-month tour of Baghdad during the surge of 2007-2008.  The book was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award.

DreamWorks acquired movie rights to Thank You for Your Service prior to publication. No producers have been attached to the project.

Hall received an Oscar nomination for adapted screenplay for Warner’ American Sniper.

Teller starred in the well received Whiplash.

He will be seen Divergent sequel Allegiant: Part 1 and in Arms and the Dudes” with Jonah Hill.
