Sissy Spacek Will Guest on Pod Live From the Palais

The Oscar-winning actor will discuss her life and career on Saturday, May 17, in the Campari Lounge, a chic venue inside the Palais that overlooks the Croisette.

Spacek, who will be at the fest as a star of the competition film/sales title Die, My Love — which was directed by Lynne Ramsay and also stars Jennifer Lawrence, Robert Pattison and Nick Nolte — will be interviewed on Saturday, May 17, in the Campari Lounge, venue inside the Palais that overlooks the Croisette. Recording begins at 11 a.m., local time.

Spacek, 75, has been a revered actress for more than 50 years. Her credits include Terrence Malick’s Badlands (1973), Brian De Palma’s Carrie (1976), Altman’s 3 Women (1977), Michael Apted’s Coal Miner’s Daughter (1980), for which she won the Oscar, Costa-Gavras’s Missing (1982), Mark Rydell’s The River (1984), Bruce Beresford’s Crimes of the Heart (1986), Oliver Stone’s JFK (1991), Paul Schrader’s Affliction (1997), David Lynch’s The Straight Story (1999), Todd Field’s In the Bedroom (2001), Rodrigo Garcia’s Nine Lives (2005), Aaron Schneider’s Get Low (2010) and Tate Taylor’s The Help (2011). She has also appeared on numerous notable TV shows, including the 2025 FX limited series Dying for Sex.
