Catherine Corsini directed and co-wrote La Fracture a French drama, starring Valeria Bruni Tedeschi.

Set in a hospital, the tale centers on two women on the verge of a breakup.

The tensions between then build up on the night of a big demonstration by the overwhelmed staff and by angry injured protestors who land up besieging the building.

In June 2021, the film was selected to compete for the Palme d’Or at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival.
