Movie Cycles: Gay and Lesbian Films, 1968-1970

In the late 1960s, as a result of the liberation of the Production Code (which officially collapsed in 1968), and the nascent gay rights movement (after the riots at Stonewall in 1969), Hollywood made a cycle of gay-themed films.
