Forbes named Holmes the richest self-made woman last year. The biotech entrepreneur’s net worth was completely reduced last week when Forbes revised the estimate from $4.5 billion to zero, after allegations that the company’s blood tests are inaccurate.
Lawrence will star and produce along with McKay, who will also write and direct the film.
McKay is coming off The Big Short, which earned him an Oscar for best adapted screenplay.
