Screenwriter ROBIN SWICORD earned an Academy Award nomination for her contribution to the adaptation of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
It also brought her Golden Globe and Writers Guild of America nominations.
Swicord’s other major screenwriting credits include Rob Marshall’s lavish drama Memoirs of a Geisha.
She has also written and produced Practical Magic, Matilda, The Perez Family and Little Women.
Swicord made her feature directorial debut with The Jane Austen Book Club, for which she also wrote the screenplay adaptation.
She most recently wrote and directed the feature film Wakefield, an adaptation of E.L. Doctorow’s short story starring Bryan Cranston and Jennifer Garne
Wakefield had its international debut at the Toronto Film Fest, after premiering at Telluride.
It opens in theatres in May 2017.
