Motherhood: Comedy to Star Thurman, Minnie Driver, Anthony Edwards

April 15, 2008–Uma Thurman, Minnie Driver, and Anthony Edwards will star in the comedy Motherhood, written and directed by Katherine Dieckmann. The feature has Thurman as a harried mother of two prepping for her daughters sixth birthday party as all kinds of challenges confront her. Driver and Edwards will play Thurmans best friend and husband.

The 25-day shoot begins lensing in N.Y. in May with a budget of almost $10 million. The feature will take advantage of New York's new 35% tax incentives. The film was produced by Pamela Koffler and Christine Vachon for Killer and Jana Edelbaum and Rachel Cohen for iDEAL. John Wells will exec producer.

Thurman stars in drama The Life Before Her Eyes, opening this Friday, and with Colin Firth and Jeffrey Dean Morgan in The Accidental Husband, due out in August.
