Louis C.K: Disgraced Comedian Stirs Controversy–Again

Disgraced comedian Louis C.K. has stirred more outrage after taking aim at Parkland shooting survivors and gender identity at a comedy club on Long Island.

An audio recording of C.K., which surfaced late Sunday on YouTube, was described as a set delivered December 16 at Governor’s Comedy Club in Levittown.

C.K. starts by noting that he’s had a rough time in the 14 months since multiple women came forward accusing him of sexual harassment and misconduct. He acknowledged the truth of the claims made in a New York Times expose in November 2017.

“Ever have an entire year that sucks 365 s— c— days in a row?” C.K. asks the crowd.

C.K.’s most incendiary comments are aimed at the survivors of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting last February that left 17 people dead in Parkland, Fla, with C.K. noting that he was unimpressed by the younger generation calling them “boring.”

“You’re not interesting because you went to a high school where kids got shot,” C.K. said. “Why does that mean I have to listen to you? How does that make you interesting. You didn’t get shot. You pushed some fat kid in the way. Now I gotta listen to you talking?”
